Civilian injured in Sulaimaniya

Sulaimaniya (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was injured due to an IED explosion in Sulaimaniya city in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

A security source told IraqiNews.com on Thursday that “A civilian was injured when an IED blew up in his car, on last Wednesday evening, in a residential area in Sulaimaniya.”

“The police transported the injured civilian to a hospital for treatment and launched investigations about the circumstances of the incident,” the source added.

It is worth mentioning that this incident is considered as unusual since KR enjoys security stability unlike the rest of the Iraqi provinces.
