Civilian killed in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: One civilian was killed by gunmen fire while he was driving his vehicle in northern Mosul, according to a source from Ninewa police on Sunday. “Unknown armed men today opened fire at a civilian while he was inside his car at al-Sokar neighborhood, northern Mosul, killing him instantly” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The gunmen stole the victim’s car and escaped to an unknown place,” he said. “The victim was a teacher. His corpse was taken to a morgue in the city,” the source added, not giving more details. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/AmR 1
