Civilian killed, Policeman injured in western Mosul

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed and a policeman was injured in western Mosul on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire, attacking a police checkpoint in Hadhirat al-Sada area of western Mosul,” noting that “The attack resulted in killing a civilian and injuring a checkpoint element.”

“The security forces transferred the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
