 Civilian, senior officer killed, 5 bodies found in Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – According to security sources, five unidentified bodies have been found and a civilian and a senior army officer were killed in two armed attacks in two separate incidents in Baghdad, while the security forces managed to liberate a kidnapped person in and arrest his kidnappers.

The sources said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A security force found an unidentified body in Mansour area southwest of Baghdad, while another force found an unidentified body in Saidiya District south of Baghdad.”

The sources added, “The security force has also found the bodies of two men were shot dead in two separate incidents in Husseiniya area, north of Baghdad.”

The sources also stated, “The body of a man shot dead was found in Diyala Bridge area, southeast of Baghdad,” noting that, “All the bodies were found handcuffed.”
