Civilian wounded in explosion in southern Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Sunday, a police source announced, that a civilian was wounded in an improvised explosive device’s explosion in southern Baghdad.
The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “An improvised explosive device emplaced in front of a house exploded in Diyala bridge area in southern Baghdad, wounding one civilian and inflicting material damage on the house.
The source added, “A security force cordoned off the explosion area and transferred the wounded to the hospital to receive treatment, while opened an investigation into the incident’s circumstances.
