5 civilians killed, injured in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) Five civilians were killed and injured when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded in Baquba city of central Diyala province.

A security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED was emplaced near l-Tahrir police station exploded to result in killing a civilian and injuring four others.”

“The security forces hurried to the explosion area and transferred the dead to the morgue and the injured to the nearby hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
