 Coalition strikes foil attempt to attack Haditha, kill 25 ISIS fighters east of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The general commander of al-Jazirah and al-Badiyah Operations Command announced Friday the killing of 25 elements belonging to the so-called ISIS during an aerial bombardment in the district of Haditha east of Ramadi.

Major General Ali Ibrahim, the commander of al-Jazirah and al-Badiyah Operations, stated for IraqiNews.com, “Warplanes of the international coalition, with coordination with the security forces, had managed to conduct an aerial bombing against an ISIS gathering in the area of Albu Hayat in the district of Haditha (160 km east of Ramadi),” noting that, “The air strikes resulted in killing 25 elements of ISIS and the destruction of four vehicles that belonged to them.”

Ibrahim added, “The operation foiled an attempt by the criminals of ISIS to carry out an attack on Haditha and inflicted big losses in lives and equipment upon them.”
