(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Media officials with the Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday killing nine terrorists and destroying five vehicles that had carried mono guns during an aerial strike by the international coalition on an ISIS convey near Heet west of the city of Ramadi.

According to information shared by the officials and obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation, based on intelligence information by the Iraqi National Intelligence [Agency], conducted an aerial strike on a convey belonging to the ISIS terrorist gangs, resulting in the destruction of five vehicles that had carried mono guns, in addition to destroying a mortar detachment and killing nine terrorists that had an intention to target the center of Heet District from the area of al-bakr [using] booby-trapped vehicles.”

In a related context, the information added, “The international coalition aviation conducted an air strike against ISIS gatherings in the village of Kharba Shamam in Nineveh, resulting in the death of tens of ISIS elements,” pointing out that, “The [strike] was based on information by the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security.”
