 Coalition warplanes destruct Rafidain Bank and ISIS prison in Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A local source in Nineveh province said on Tuesday, that the international coalition destructed the main headquarters of Rafidain Bank and one of the most prominent prisons for the ISIS organization in the city of Mosul.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today, warplanes of the international coalition conducted air strikes on the main headquarters of Rafidain Bank in central Mosul,” noting that, “The aerial bombing resulted in the complete destruction of the bank.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The bombing targeted also al-Hawi Church in the western axis of Mosul, which is used by ISIS as one of its prominent prisons, resulting its full destruction, amid news of the killing of five of the organization’s judges and a number of its elements, without knowing whether the strikes caused causalities among prisoners.”
