(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The army’s Fourteenth Emergency Regiment announced on Friday the killing of the so-called ISIS Wali of Kabisa District, along with four of his aides, during an aerial bombardment by the international coalition in western Anbar.

Saud al-Obeidi, the spokesperson for the regiment, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation, based on intelligence information, conducted an aerial strike that targeted a gathering ISIS elements in the district of Kabisa, resulting in the death of ISIS Wali of Kabisa, known as Rahem al-Awad, along with four of his aides, in addition to destructing three vehicles that had carried rockets launchers.

Obeidi added, “The ISIS has completely collapsed in western Anbar.”
