Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Tuesday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that 25 ISIS elements have been either killed or injured in a U.S.-led air strike in northwest of Kirkuk.

The source informed IraqiNews.com “This afternoon, warplanes of the international coalition carried out air strikes against tactical targets and weapons stores for the ISIS militants in 3 villages in al-Debs district,” pointing out that, “The aerial bombing resulted in killing 10 ISIS elements, including a top leader of the group, alongside 15 other militants.”

“The air strike was based on accurate intelligence received by the coalition,” the source added.

The district of al-Debs is located 45 km northwest of Kirkuk province.
