Dead, wounded in suicide bomb targeted army gathering north of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) A source in the Iraqi police announced Tuesday, that a number of soldiers has been killed or wounded in a suicide bombing that targeted an army gathering north of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “On Tuesday evening, a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up amid a gathering for the Iraqi Army soldiers in Tarimiya district north of Baghdad, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The security forces cordoned off the scene, while ambulances rushed to transport the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the bodies of the dead to the Forensic Medicine Authority.”
