Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A protestor at Huriya square in central Mosul tried on Sunday to commit suicide by burning his body.
Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The protestor tried to commit suicide through inflaming himself at the protest square of Mosul city, yet the demonstrators managed to put the blaze out,” noting “The burning hurt one of his arms.”
“A ambulance rushed to transport him to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.
Anbar, Nineveh, and Salah il-Din provinces is going on launching demonstrations for weeks demanding for issuing general amnesty for detainees and canceling the Anti-Terrorism Law’s article No. 4 besides other demands.
