Deputy Chairman of Diyala PC survives assassination attempt

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Chairman of Diyala Provincial Council, Omer al-Kirwi, survived an assassination attempt by an Improvised Explosive Device in Baquba.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED exploded to target Kirwi’s patrol in Tahrir quarter in Baquba to result in material damages to the vehicles only.”
