(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Ministry of Displacement and Immigration announced on Sunday receiving 420 displaced families from al-Sharqat district north of Salahuddin.

Head of the Northern Provinces Department, Muhanad Saleh Abdul-Rahim, in a brief statement, said, “The Office of the Ministry of Displacement and Immigration in Salahuddin has received 420 displaced families from al-Sharqat amid the [ongoing] operations to liberate the district from ISIS control,” adding that, “The ministry received the displaced families at the reception center of the displaced families in Baiji district.”

Abdul-Rahim added, “This batch is the first batch and there are more families.”
