(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – The President of Khalidiya Council, Ali Dawood, announced on Thursday the death of dozens of elements of the ISIS, including a senior commander, during an aerial bombardment east of the city of Ramadi.

Dawood said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi warplanes bombed a number of vehicles belonging to ISIS in Albu Shajel in Khalidiya Island (23 km east of Ramadi), killing dozens of members of the organization.”

He added that “A senior leader in the terrorist organization, called Abu Ayyub, was among the dead,” pointing out that, “the shelling also resulted in serious material losses in the ranks of ISIS.”
