(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A senior security source announced on Tuesday, that dozens of ISIS militants were killed, including Arabs and foreigners, in an aerial bombardment carried out by the international coalition aviation on the University of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The coalition aircraft targeted a security headquarters belonging to ISIS in the University of Mosul, killing dozens of ISIS members, including Arab and foreign nationalities.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “ISIS responded to the aerial bombing by using anti-aircraft weapons from the residential neighborhoods in the city of Mosul.”
