Drugs dealers arrested in Diwaniya

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) Diwaniya Police Forces arrested a gang of drugs dealers and seized drug pills smuggled from Lebanon to Iraq in Diwaniya province (180 km) to the south of Baghdad on Monday.Diwaniya Police Commander General Abdul Jalil al-Asadi stated to IraqiNews.com “Dera’ al-Janoub check point located at the High Way (25 km) to the north of Diwaniya city arrested a group of drug dealers and seized more than 30,000 drug pills of different types in thier possession.”Asadi added “According to the confessions of the arrested criminals, the drugs were handed over for them in Lebanon by a Lebanese dealer and they were supposed to deliver the cargo to a drug dealer in Muthana province (60 km) to the south of Diwaniya.” “The single pill of this kind of drugs makes its consumer helpless for three days which turns him into a project of a criminal for three days,” Asadi concluded./End/
