Education Minister survives assassination attempt in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Education, Mohammed Ali Tamim, survived an assassination attempt when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the south west of Kirkuk city.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The IED, which exploded near a village within Hawegah district, targeting the motorcade of the Minister to the south west of Kirkuk city.”

”The explosion of the IED did not result in any human casualties, but material damages to the nearby vehicles and buildings,” the source concluded.
