Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) A member of the Bomb Squad was killed by a car bomb explosion, while trying to dismantle it, north of Tikrit, a source told Alsumaria News on Saturday.

The source said, “A booby-trapped vehicle exploded, while an explosives’ expert was trying to dismantle it in al-Qadissiyah area, north of Tikrit.”

“The car bomb explosion resulted in the killing of a member of the Iraqi Bomb Squad,” the source added.

Earlier today, an improvised explosive device explosion killed a soldier of the army’s Commando brigade, and wounded five others, east of Salahuddin Province.
