Explosion in western Baghdad, 12 casualties

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Three persons were killed and nine others were injured in a bomb blast at western Baghdad. This was informed by a source from the Interior Ministry on Thursday.
“This morning, an improvised explosive device exploded near a popular market in western Baghdad, killing three persons and wounding nine others with several injuries,” it was stated according to information shared by the source.
Adding further the source said, “Security forces rushed to the area of incident and evacuated the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies were sent to the forensic department.”
