Federal police kills 73 ISIS elements in Tikrit operations

(IraqiNews.com) Commander of the federal police Shaker Jawdat announced on Sunday, that 73 ISIS elements have been killed in the ongoing military operations to liberate Tikrit.
Jawdat said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Clashes erupted during the past two days between elements of the ISIS organization and the security forces in their advance toward Tikrit city center to release it from the control of terrorist groups.”
Jawdat added that the forces managed to kill 73 ISIS terrorists during the clashes.
