Security forces discover IS hideout northeast of Baqubah

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) A local official in Diyala Province revealed on Sunday, that security forces discovered a hideout belonging to the Islamic State, northeast of Baqubah.

Head of Jalula area, Yusuf Mulla said in a press statement, “Security forces found a hideout belonging to the Islamic State, containing explosive devices and materials, in the vicinity of al-Islah village, northeast of Baqubah.”

“The hideout was discovered based on information received from the residents about the extremist group’s movements,” Mulla added.

Noteworthy, security forces seized several hideouts of the Islamic State in different areas of Diyala during the previous months.
