Former Emergency Regiments Commander of Diwaniyah killed in bomb blast

(IraqiNews.com) Diwaniyah – The Interior Ministry announced on Thursday, that the former commander of the emergency regiments of Diwaniyah has been killed in the explosion of a bomb that was emplaced in his car in the province.

The ministry spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “A bomb that was emplaced in the car of the former emergency regiments, Brigadier General Ghassan Mohammed, exploded this evening in the province, resulting in his death.”
