Gunman killed, 22 wanted individuals arrested in Salah-il-Din

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The police patrols of Salah-il-Din province managed to kill a gunman and arrested another on Thursday.The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Saad Maan, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The police elements chased two terrorists traveling by two vehicles with Improvised Explosive Devices in their possession in Aisha village within Shurqat district of Salah-il-Din province,” noting that ”One of the terrorists was killed when the IED exploded in his vehicle.””The police also discovered a weapons cache in Albo Tuma village of northern Tikrit,” Maan added, stressing that ”The weapons cache included Katyusha rockets and other explosive materials.””The police managed to defuse four IEDs in Dejeil, Samarra and Dour districts of Salah-il-Din province and arrested (21) wanted individuals to the north of Tikrit city,” Brigadier concluded. \END\
