Hezbollah: Muhammadawi doesn’t belong to us, we have no armed manifestations in Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, Hezbollah denied Sunday that Abbas Muhammadawi is one of its members, and emphasized that it has no armed manifestations in Baghdad, while called the security forces to take deterrent measures to eliminate the extremist gangs.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said in a statement published on Hezbollah Brigades’ website and followed by IraqiNews.com, “Abbas Muhammadawi does not belong to Hezbollah Brigades,” calling the security forces to take deterrent measures and do their part in eliminating the extremist groups.

Hezbollah also stressed the need to respect all the security and military forces as the entity responsible for maintaining security, emphasizing the importance of verifying the identity of those who claim allegiance to Hezbollah Brigades through its official sources.
