(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – UN High Commissioner for Human Rights announced on Monday, that more than 500 families were displaced from the areas south of Mosul due to the military operations that were carried out to liberate the city from ISIS, while warned of a humanitarian disaster in the province.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Fadel al-Gharawi said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “More than 500 families had been displaced from Makhmur, Qayyarah, Khrdan Dan and Kodelah south of Mosul,” indicating that, “The statistics were provided by the Ministry of Displacement and migration.”
