Hundreds of IEDs, light weapons confiscated in Diyala

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) The security forces seized hundreds of Improvised Explosive Devices and light weapons in Diyala.

The Commander of Diyala Police Directorate, Major General, Jamil al-Shimmari, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The security forces seized hundreds of IEDs and light weapons in al-Aitha Island of southern Muqdadiya district.”

“The operation was done with the help of the citizens and the weapons were confiscated,” he concluded.
