IA commander wounded in Jurf al-Sakher

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Commander of the Iraqi Army/ Second Regiment of the Eighth Division was wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the north of Babel province.Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”Unidentified gunmen detonated an IED at the entrance of Jurf al-Sakher district targeting a military motorcade which resulted in wounding the Iraqi Commander, Alaa Abayid, and burned several vehicles from the motorcade.””The security forces cordoned the explosion area off and started to collect the evidences to capture the gunmen who are targeting the military motorcades in Jurf al-Sakher area,” the source concluded.
