IA officer, soldier assassinated northern Baghdad
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen managed to assassinate an Iraqi Army officer and a solider northern Baghdad.
Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Tuesday “A 1st Lieutenant along with a soldier have been killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire from silenced weapons targeting a military vehicle parked on the side road in Waziriya area of northern Baghdad.”
The gunmen managed to flee after conducting the attack while the IA patrols transported the dead bodies to the morgue, the source concluded.
