IA Soldier killed in western Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed in western Mosul.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “Unidentified gunmen attacked an Iraqi Army checkpoint by silenced weapons in Mesherfa area of western Mosul city ,” noting that “The armed attack resulted in killing one soldier of the checkpoint.”

The source added “A security force cordoned the incident scene and transported the dead body to the morgue and then carried out a raid and search operation looking for the attackers.” \
