IED explosion targets IA patrol in eastern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded targeting an Iraqi Army patrol in Shurqat district of eastern Tikrit city.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED was emplaced at the side of the road at al-Salman village,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring a patrol element.”

“The security forces transferred the injured soldier to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
