IED goes off northern Tikrit [03/01/2014]

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Four policemen were killed or wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device went off to the north of Tikrit city on Saturday.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”The IED, which exploded targeting police patrol, resulted in killing a policeman and wounding three others in Mashhad village of the Left Coast of Shurqat district of northern Tikrit.””The security forces rushed to the explosion location transporting the dead body to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment while another force started a raid-search operations looking for the perpetrators,” the source added.
