IED targets IA patrol in eastern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Two Iraqi Army elements were killed, injured among them an officer due to explosion of an IED in eastern Mosul, capital of Nineveh province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Thursday “An IED that was planted in a roadside in Majmua district of eastern Mosul exploded targeting IA patrol resulted in killing soldier and injuring Captain.”

“Security force rushed to block the incident spot and transport the dead the injured officer to hospital admitted to a hospital while the dead body was sent to the morgue,” the source added.
