2 IEDs defused, detonated in Tikrit

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A security force defused two Improvised Explosive Devices in Tikrit city of central Salah-il-Din province.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ‘The security forces discovered two IEDs that were emplaced near a police station in Salman village of Shurqat district to the north of Tikrit city.”

”The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit managed to defuse one of the two IEDs while the other one was detonated without any human casualties or material damage,” the source concluded. \
