International coalition to begin ground war against ISIS soon

(IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Gen. James Terry, commander of joint ground forces in the international coalition against ISIS announced, that the international coalition is ready to deploy 1,500 troops in Iraq in order to fight ISIS.

Gen. Terry said, “Members of the international coalition against ISIS are ready to deploy 1,500 in Iraq to help Baghdad to fight jihadists.”

Terry added, “The coalition members, who met last week in the region, vowed to send about 1,500 to train Iraqi forces and help them along with US military advisers in Iraq.”

On Monday, the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced in a press conference during his visit to the city of Karbala that, “There is no immunity and no foreign fighters in Iraq,” denying his signature on any agreement, and asserting that “granting immunity to foreign forces in earlier times was the result of diplomatic errors.”
