IPs killed, injured in eastern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An armed group disguised by a military uniform attacked a police checkpoint in Yankanja village of eastern Tikrit on Saturday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The attack resulted in killing three policemen and injuring two others including a police Captain.”

“The Ambulances transferred the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
