Iraq to receive its F-16 aircraft in one of its air bases in the near future, says Obeidi

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraqi Minister of Defense confirmed on Monday, that Iraq will receive the F-16 fighter jets in one of the Iraqi air bases in the near future.
Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi said in a stated obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The arrival of the F-16 aircraft is being within the specified plan and the appointed date in the near future,” denying, “The malicious rumors saying that the base of these aircraft will be in Jordan.”
Al-Obeidi added, “I will personally receive the aircraft in one of the Iraqi air bases.”
