(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Anbar Police Chief Major General Hadi al-Rzayej announced on Thursday, that the security forces and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia are besieging ISIS elements in Ramadi from three axis and that the residents of the province have a desire to participate in the process of liberation.

Al-Rzayej said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The security forces and al-Hashed al-sha’bi militia are besieging ISIS terrorists in the city of Ramadi from the three axis (east, south and west) in accordance with the plan and military measures.”

“Anbar tribes have a desire to be a part from the liberation operations, along with emergency battalions, which have been formed from Ramadi police, currently,” indicating that, “this contribution came after some members of the tribes have been volunteered in al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia,” al-Rzayej added.

The Anbar police Chief Major General Hadi al-Rzayej said on Thursday that 1700 officers and members have joined Habbaniyah military base east of Ramadi, stressing that the number is increasing due to the large attendance.
