 Iraqi army forces advance into Joabah, Sajariyah and Husaiybah areas east of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Commander of Anbar Operations Command Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi announced on Friday, that the army forces advanced in the liberation of three areas east of Ramadi, while pointed out that the resistance of ISIS in those areas has become weak.

Mahalawi said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The army’s 8th brigade advanced, this morning, in the liberation of Joabah, Sajariyah and Husaiybah areas east of Ramadi,” noting that, “The operation is going under aerial cover by the the international coalition as well as the Iraqi Army Aviation and the army’s artillery force.”

Mahalawi also added, “The resistence of ISIS is weak in those areas,” pointing out that, “The besieged families in Sajariyah and Joabah are located far from the confrontations.”
