(IraqiNews.com) Erbil – Military officer announced on Saturday that the Iraqi Army has regained control of two villages in Qayyarah, to the south of Mosul.

Major Amin Shikhani, in a press statement, said, “Iraqi Army this morning attacked several areas south of Qayyarah and regained control of Auajjba and Zhiliya villages, situated to the south of Qayyarah.”

“We found the bodies of eight ISIS militants. There was no resistance offered by the outfit,” Shikhani added.
