(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Sunday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that 13 ISIS fighters have been killed in an artillery strike by the federal police in northern Tikrit.

The source told IraqiNews.com, “Today, regiments of the Federal Police Forces had shelled a number of sites for the ISIS militants in the area of al-Siniyah in the district of Baiji north of Tikrit, by mortar shells and heavy artillery rounds,” pointing out that, “The shelling resulted in the death of 13 ISIS elements and the destruction of two vehicles,” without mentioning any more details.
