Iraqi forces advance 2 km away from Door, eastern Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Samarra Operations Command said, that the security forces are only 2 km away from entering the district of al-Door in eastern Tikrit.
The source told IraqiNews, “Army forces backed by police elements and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi fighters have approached the district of al-Door,” noting that, “The military units are only 2 km away from entering the district from its southern axis.”
“The forces have managed to cleanse liberated areas of any bombs or explosive mines on the roads,” the source added.
