Iraqi forces await zero hour to attack ISIS positions in Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a security source in Salahuddin said, that security forces accompanied with military reinforcements arrived in the surrounding villages of Tikrit, preparing for an offensive to liberate the city.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Security forces with reinforcements consisting of dozens of armored vehicles and heavy weapons arrived in the al-Ojja village in southern of Tikrit and in Speacher base in northern Tikrit. The security forces are currently awaiting the zero hour to begin marching into the city of Tikrit.”
