Iraqi forces kill 12 ISIS elements in Baiji, Salahuddin

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security source in Salahuddin said, that the Iraqi security forces have killed 12 ISIS elements in violent clashes that took place in Baiji, located in north of Tikrit city.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Security forces clashed with ISIS militants in Baiji, located 40 km north of Tikrit, and killed 12 elements of the group. Iraqi special units have also removed 7 explosive devices, including 2 explosives placed inside two vehicles which the group had prepared to use against the forces.”
