Iraqi forces kill 14 ISIS militants, liberate Dijla in southern Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the Iraqi security sources have managed to kill 14 ISIS militants and liberate the area of Dijla, located in southern Tikrit.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Iraqi forces of Samarra Operations Command backed by federal police elements and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi fighters have managed to kill 14 elements of the ISIS group during violent clashes in the area of Dijla, located in southern Tikrit,” adding that, “The forces now reached to the area of al-Hawi, located near Tigris River.”
