Iraqi forces kill 16 ISIS militants, repel attack on Sur-Nash

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that the Iraqi security forces have managed to repel an attack by the ISIS group militants and kill 16 elements of the group in northern Samarra.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Security forces have managed to repel an attack by the ISIS group militants on the area of Sur-Nash, located in northern Samarra,” pointing out that, “The forces killed 16 elements of the ISIS group including a key Arab leader, in addition to destroying five armored vehicles that belonged to the group.”
