Iraqi forces kill ISIS governor of Yathrib in southern Tikrit
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a security official in Salahuddin province said, that the ISIS governor (Wali) of Yathrib has been killed in a security operation in southern Tikrit.
The official told IraqiNews, “The military units of the 17th division accompanied by armed volunteers have managed to kill the ISIS governor of Yathrib, known as Abu Sufyan al-Saudi, during clashes at the outskirts of Yathrib in southern Tikrit.”
