 Iraqi forces repel suicide attack, kill 14 ISIS fighters in eastern Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Tuesday, a security source in Anbar province revealed, that the security forces managed to repel a suicide attack by a booby-trapped vehicle in eastern Ramadi, noting that the forces killed 14 ISIS militants while advancing into the eastern axis of Ramadi.

The source, who requested anonymity, stated in an interview for IraqiNews, “A security force repelled an attack by a booby-trapped vehicle driven by a suicide bomber who attempted to target the security forces in the area of eastern Hasiba (7 km east of Ramadi),” pointing out that, “The forces managed to destroy the vehicle and kill the bomber before arriving to the target.”

“The forces killed 14 elements of ISIS while advancing into Ramadi City,” the source also added.
