 Iraqi police forces kill 14 ISIS elements, destroy 12 explosives in east of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The Federal Police Command announced on Sunday the killing of 14 ISIS elements during a security operation in the area of Hasiba in east of Ramadi.

Raed Jawdat, commander of the federal police, said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The armored brigade belonging to the federal police managed to destroy 3 vehicles for ISIS and kill 8 elements of the group in a rockets attack on Hasiba area east of Ramadi,” noting that, “The forces were able to cleanse 6 houses and destroy 12 explosive devices in the same area.”

He also added, “The area of the school of Andalus and its surroundings have been liberated from ISIS after killing six terrorists in the area of al-Madeek (9 km east of Ramadi).”
